We had a perfect summer’s night for our annual McGowan Relay and Admiral’s Cup last Friday night.
With 16 teams registered, including our coaches Nathan and Laura, it was absolutely fantastic to see 84 swimmers in the pool swimming hard and having a great time. For those new to our club this is just a little bigger than what our regular swim meets were a few years ago.
It was great to see Peter McGowan come down and enjoy the night, he was very complimentary of the event and the swimming.
Congratulations to the Hankipatersons, Harry Hankinson, Michael Paterson, Jemima Paterson and Lincoln Paterson for taking out this year’s McGowan Relay. And congratulations to Guy Watson for winning the Admirals Cup – Male.
